are you an experienced sales pro, with a strong background in software development, looking for a better job?
if yes, our web development studio is looking for a sales specialist just like you! let me tell you why you should join us, and how we imagine you to be.
hi there, good-job-seeking human!
i'm višnja, i'm one of the directors, and head of sales and marketing @ logIT internet usluge d.o.o.
we design and develop web sites, custom web apps and custom-tailored web shops for our clients.
i know you've worked hard and went through extensive sales training to become as skilled as you are today. you don't give your sales magic to just anyone who manages to write a job posting. i feel that you're eager to sell only good stuff - bad products from bad companies are just... well, not your thing. you want to earn good money and work among like-minded IT pros with a healthy attitude towards business, sales and development. and you want your career to be as close to the internet as possible - because you know the internet is where the party is today, and will be in the future.
maybe your current job is boring or not challenging enough. maybe you are not respected or treated well. maybe you sell boring or awful products, work with mediocre colleagues, all for the gains of unfair bosses. you feel, and i see - you can do so much better.
that's why i know you'd be happy working with us @ logIT - we would be refreshment! because my company writes damn good code, and now we need more of you damn good sales pros out there, to sell our damn good software products, designs and web services to clients. you believe that every good client deserves to spend good money on good stuff only. as your boss, my job is to surround you with more pros like you, give you access to all the tools and knowledge you need and keep y'all happy. your job is to find good clients, sell to them and make sure it's the clients - and not us - who pay for everybody's happiness. i'm sure you'll find this deal more than fair.
you've got previous experience in - no, let me call it *passion* for - selling and supporting IT-related products, services and/or software.
you have a strong IT background - preferably, a software development background. you used to - or you still do - write code for money. since good code is essential for our business, we believe you'll sell more if you love the code. if you've never written one line of code in your life, we expect you a) to be a damn good salesman to compensate for that lack of domain specific knowledge, and b) to be learning everything there is to know about our products, our services and our ever-changing industry.
you live and breathe the internets. you have developed a healthy attitude towards internet marketing, mobile computing, social media, gadgets and every other technical phenomena. you can't wait to see which next big thing is gonna change our lives forever.
not only are you a damn good communicator and negotiator - you also have strong (copy)writing skills. those e-mails, newsletters and blog posts won't write themselves, will they? you know this is important because written communication does sell too - and you don't care that some call it 'marketing'. where does marketing end and where does selling begin, right? exactly!
you don't wait for anybody's permission; you have zero tolerance for excuses; you won't take bullshit from anyone - not from your clients, not from your colleagues, not from your bosses, and especially not from yourself. the more zeros your put into your sales quote, the more excited you are to go out and sell. talk is cheap, only results matter. practice trumps theory.
yes, we do want you to speak at least some machine language. but we *don't* need another programmer, and we *don't* want you to treat this job as a stepping stone towards web development job - because it is not. we want a sales pro who wants to further his/her career up the sales path.
and we won't be hiring sales n00bs - we expect you to bring sales experience to the table, ok?
this job posting WILL STAY OPEN - until we fill all the floors of our new office with sales specialists.
why wouldn't it be in english?
actually, this is our way of telling you that for this job, you'll need very good english language skills. like in: we want you to read, speak and write english at least as well as we do, or better.
oh, and please: be great at written and spoken croatian, too :-)
send an e-mail to jobs@logit.hr and sell yourself to us. if we like what you have to say, we'll contact you.
see ya in my inbox!

Hey there :)
So by "no noobs" you meant that someone with no prior sale experience is not welcome? Too bad really.
Nice ad though.
What about someone who never sold anything, nor speak Croatian well, but is willing to learn and is computer savvy?
